Outlook 08/11

Context: Futures point to bullish open. Asia was little-changed, and Europe is up modestly at midday. Among the premarket movers is Alibaba, up 4% after its results topped expectations; Shake Shack is down 6.7% despite an earnings beat and guidance boost. Crude oil and gold are about flat, and 10-year U.S. Treasury yield is up to 1.518%.

Plan: Globex is bullish (GBT 2183), moving above value within 2139-2183 range. The big picture shows bullish imbalance towards 2190, so first idea is to be a buyer above VAH 2175.75 towards VPOC 2181.75 and BT 2190. If that fails, I become a seller towards VAL 2168.25 and GAP 2159.

Value References (/ESU6): VAH 2175.75 POC 2172.75 VAL 2168.25

Economic Data (ET): 9:45 Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index; 10:30 EIA Natural Gas Inventory
